MY WHY
Chloe Thompson, Certified Birth Doula
Ever since I was a little girl, I knew my purpose in life was to help other people. As I grew and matured, I found a passion in empowering women. I first became interested in becoming a doula when I was around 15, but did not begin pursuing it until I was 20. When I was 21, I received certification through Child Birth International as a Certified Birth Doula.

Much of my background is in the medical field. In addition to being a doula, I'm a full-time nurse. While these two roles are very different, I pride myself in that in both roles, I'm able to provide care to others during a vulnerable time and have the ability to empower people to confidently make decisions regarding their care.
As the pregnancy, birth and postpartum experience has evolved over the years, it's apparent that the need for caring, sensitive, and knowledgeable support during this time is becoming more and more necessary. I view each and every pregnancy as a gift and believe every woman deserves the opportunity to have some one by her side to provide physical, educational, and emotional support so she can feel empowered as she enters in to the beautiful world of motherhood.
